Things to do in Southern Chile when your flight is delayed (day 2)

Had a fun day visiting Fuerte Bulnes which was the first settlement in Patagonia by westerners. Explored the trails and could almost see the southernmost point in mainland South America. Despite the rain it was such a beautiful and tranquil setting teeming with wildlife.

On the flip side of this our update is that we won’t be flying today. There are winds of up to 60 knots at Union Glacier and some snowfall which is not ideal. Next weather window will likely be at the weekend so next update will be late on Friday.
To kill the time, a few of us are going to head north for a couple of days and see what we discover on our way.

Fingers crossed for favourable weather by the weekend.
